The Business development manager will work on sales leads, pitch services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new and existing clients. This role requires good communication and high confidence as dealings with clients on regular basis.

Duties:

  • Approaching and following up new business opportunities/conducting meetings
  • Contributing to the development of sales strategies and targets
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures. Producing reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies
  • Effective communication with existing and potential customers to discuss requirements
  • Preparation of quotations and tenders
  • Undertaking market research, construct and deliver successful sales plans
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Providing management with feedback

Skills:

  • A minimum Bachelors Degree is required in a relevant field (Business/Management/Marketing)
  • A minimum of one years experience in a similar role
  • A deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Negotiation skills
  • Persistent and competitive
